När jag anlände till Paris så var familjen på semester i Saint-Malo där de har ett sommarhus, så det första jag fick göra var att sätta mig på tåget och åka dit! De hade redan varit där i några veckor när jag kom och jag hann bara vara där i några dagar innan vi skulle vidare och jag tog tyvärr inga kort där. Vi åkte vidare till Balleroy, en liten by nära Bayeux och Normandie där värdmamman har vänner, som har 3 barn. Så jag hade fullt upp under veckan vi var där. Men åh vad roligt det var där, vi besökte Bayeux, Omaha Beach, badade i Atlanten, flög luftballong och gick på rundtur i ett slott, Château de Balleroy! Pappan i familjen vi bodde hos var chef över själva museet i detta slott, så jag fick gå in gratis och fick även en gratis tour i detta slott, så snällt! Slottet ägs av den rika Amerikanska familjen Forbes!

When I arrived in Paris, the family was on vacation in Saint-Malo where they have a beach house, so the first thing I had to do was get on a train and get there! They had already been there for a few weeks when I came there and I only spent a few days there before we were heading to another village to visit some of the mom's friends. They live in Balleroy, a small village close to Bayeux and Normandy, and they had 3 kids so I was pretty occupied during the week we spent there! But oh so much fun we had, we visited Bayeux, Omaha Beach, went swimming in the Atlantic ocean, flew in a hot air balloon and spent some time in a castle, Château de Balleroy! The dad in the family we were staying with was the manager of the museum in this castle so he let me go in for free, and I also got a free tour of the castle. So nice! The castle is owned by the wealthy American Forbes family!
