29 JULY 2015

On the 29th of July the second greatest adventure of my life began (the first greatest adventure of my life was my Europe trip this summer, I will come back to that later on) when I flew Paris! Before I got this job I had been thinking a lot about what I would to during the fall, I didn't feel ready to start studying just yet and to stay in Östersund felt unbearable! Randomly I found the ad for this job, a mother with 4 children and a fifth on the way in need of an au pair, I though: "why not?" I have always dreamt about moving to France and learn to speak French fluently, and this was an perfect opportunity to do so, so I applied for the job. After that everything went pretty fast, I was in touch with the au-pair agency every day, and when all the required documents were sent and they told me they thought everything looked good, I got the question: "are you sure you want this job, because if you are, it's yours." That was when I for the first time felt that this was real, that it was actually happening. I said yes, of course, and now a few months later I am here, sitting in my room in Rueil-Malmaison. I have been here for almost a month now, and everything feels really good, and I hope and believe that it will continue to be good for the next 6 months.
